Borland Reports Strong Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2004 Results
Annual Profits Up More Than 250%; Record Number of $1M-plus Transactions
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. - Feb 01, 2005 : Borland Software Corporation (Nasdaq:BORL), the global leader in platform-independent solutions for software delivery optimization, today announced financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2004.
Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2004 were $82.5 million, up 11% from $74.0 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2003. GAAP net income for the fourth quarter of 2004 was $8.0 million, or $0.10 per diluted share, as compared to a GAAP net loss of $5.7 million, or ($0.07) per share, reported in the fourth quarter of 2003.
