Previous versions of Delphi and C++Builder require either an individual DataSnap (or MIDAS) license per server or the new unlimited server license included in Delphi 7 Studio Architect, Delphi 7 Studio Enterprise, and C++Builder 6 Studio Enterprise. Middleware drivers include SOAP, Sockets, and DCOM. DataSnap middleware is compatible with all Delphi and C++Builder data-access drivers including BDE (Borland Database Engine), IBExpress,™ dbGo,™ and dbExpress™ high-performance database drivers with support for Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000, Borland InterBase, MySQL, IBM® DB2,® Informix,® Oracle,® and others.
